Terms and Conditions for Retreat Booking and Participation. Please ensure you have read our terms and conditions before booking your retreat and contact us if you have any questions before making your reservation.

1. Booking and Payment:
a. To secure your place on retreat, full payment is required upon booking.
b. Payments can be made directly to Bainland Lodge Retreats. Following submission of the online booking form, you will be sent a payment link. Payment in full secures your place.

c. In the case of over-subscription, you will not be sent a payment link but will instead be added to our waiting list and advised as such via email.

2. Cancellation Policy:
a. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
More than 30 days before the retreat: Deposit is non-refundable.
30 days or less before the retreat: No refunds for the entire fee.

b. In the unlikely event that Haelu Retreats need to cancel your retreat, a full refund will be issued.

3. Health and Insurance:
a. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical, psychiatric, health conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions before your retreat.
b. Participants are responsible for their own comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies and trip cancellations.

4. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs and travel arrangements.

5. Liability:
a. Participation in the retreat activities is voluntary, and all attendees assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or accidents that may occur during the retreat.
b. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property during the retreat.
5. Retreat Changes:
a. We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary, location, or schedule that may arise as a result in the unlikely event of any unforeseen circumstances. This would be very rare but if it is the case, any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.

7. Conduct:
a. We expect all participants to respect fellow retreat attendees, staff, and other retreat guests during the retreat. We reserve the right to remove any participant for disruptive behaviour without a refund.

8. Privacy:
a. Personal information collected during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for retreat-related purposes.

9. Force Majeure:
a. We are not responsible for any disruptions or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government actions.
